What Is a Blog?

A blog is essentially an online journal where an author posts thoughts or information on a particular topic on a regular basis.  Distinct from a standard website, a blog is usually about sharing information rather than promoting a business.  The author of a blog also becomes a resource available to the public on a particular topic.  One thing to note about blogs that can be tricky is navigating.  How do you find the information you need?  These are the two easiest ways.  Look through the list of "Categories" that most blogs have, which sort all of the posts by topic.  So look for the topic that fits your question.  The other easy way is to use the "Search" box to look for posts that contain key words or phrases.  Enjoy and happy reading!
